Photos encore

The weather was delightful. By the time this picture was taken, I was on my 3rd umbrella. It's my first picture.

  1. Go to the 10th picture, one at the Grande Place, just above the Mannikin-pis, and see the two people in dark clothes on the right hand side of the picture. Look at the building in the gap between them and the larger number of people in the centre of the picture. Your Uncle Jim and I (along with about 20 other people) had dinner in a restaurant on the second floor of that building, overlooking the Place. The big sound stage that I mentioned to you was erected to the right of those two people, and when we got out after dinner, the Place was jammed with concertgoers, all singing with the performers, something by Jacques Brel that I know the English version of.

A beautiful night I will long remember.

    Love Dad
